In the best mood and in anticipation of
the concert we started at noon to the main railway station of Leipzig to
take the train to Markranstädt. There we met Uwe and Ilwa. They already
waited for us. So we could continue the journey in direction Adorf without
any problems and delays. The time of the trip passed by very fast because
we had to converse a lot. We reached Adorf already after about 2 hours
fortunately without any traffic jam. In Adorf was deepest winter weather.
That's why the little town was very romantic and we got a bit of x-mas
atmosphere. Although the frozen and sky-rocketing streets maked the driving
with the car very difficult and dangerous. But Uwe contended brave and
brought us saved to our pension. This place was nothing special, but warm.
That was the most important because outside we had arctic temperatures.
After a very good and bountiful dinner we already started to Markneukirchen.
We were happy because we needed not long till we found the Musikhalle.
At first we were surprised about the beautiful building. It was modern
and like made for concerts. We were some of the first people in front of
the hall. Fortunately the entrance started punctually at 7 p.m. so we had
not to be cold so long. Now we had to wait in the foyet, but anytime also
the doors to the actual concerthall became open. Thanx to Uwe we got the
best place: immediately in front of the stage at the microphones position.
The hall became full very fast and we could foresee that the concert wouldn't
start in time. Finally the supportband RESIN LANE came on stage. We were
surprised about the good music the 5 guys made. They were able to reach
the audience in only a short time. So the most were enthusiastic and they
acted very artless. The musical style of RESIN LANE remembered us a little
bit of Midnight Oil or Metallica, but we don't like to compare and classify
bands and their music. We liked the show of RESIN LANE very much and were
really a little bit sad as they left the stage. Now, Dana was sure to buy
their actually Maxi later. Now the technicians had to rebuild. During the
short break the audience became more impatient. Even some speaking-choirs
demanded "Alphaville, Alphaville!!!" Suddenly everybody applauded and acclaimed:
the show began and Marian and the rest of the band came on stage. But to
say the truth we were a little bit disappointed that Bernhard wasn't there
on his keyboard. We cannot remember to the exactly sequence of the songs,
but in our opinion that's not so important.

Lovely greetings from Dana & Yvonne
